INTRODUCTION

1. What kind of Permit Renewal can be done at MyEG Services?
Currently the Permit Renewal is catered for Foreign Workers in the Maid sector (PR- Pembantu Rumah) only.

2. What services does MyEG Services do for the Immigration Department?
We offer the Renewal of Maid Permit with delivery for Peninsular Malaysia only.

3. Who can make the renewal through MyEG Services?
The renewal is opened to all registered employers or applicants who hold the workers’ passports.

4. What is included in the payment for the Maid Permit Renewal?
Mandatory Government charges (Levi, Pas, Visa, Processing Fee) and E-Services Charge.

5. How do I make my payment for this service?
There are 2 types of online payment options:
• Credit Card – Visa or Master
• FPX – Direct deduction from your bank account

6. What options does MyEG offer for the Maid’s Permit Renewal?
There are 2 options you can choose for the renewal:
• You may proceed with the FOMEMA application for the medical check up by yourself
• You may appoint MyEG to do the FOMEMA application on your behalf. Please refer to the Application for Maid Renewal using MyEG Services section below.

7. Are there any additional charges besides the amount per person that I have to pay?
Yes, the charges are as follows:
• An eServices charge of RM58.00 if you wish to appoint MyEG to do the FOMEMA application on your behalf besides the Government charges which includes delivery to your doorstep.
• An eServices charge of RM38.00 if you wish to do the FOMEMA application yourself besides the Government charges which includes delivery to your doorstep.

8. What is the rate to renew a maid’s permit?

9. I have 2 maids, what is the amount to pay?
• For the first maid – Refer to table 1
• For the second maid – Refer to table 2
• For the third maid and onwards – Refer to table 2

10. How long will the application be processed?
For all successful transactions, the Permit Renewal will be delivered within 7 working days from the date of application.
If you have appointed MyEG to do the renewal on your behalf, please allow another 10 working days for the FOMEMA medical result to be updated. In total, there is a 17 working days period from the date the maid is taken to the clinic.

11. How sure can I be that my transaction will go through?
Every successful transaction will be issued with e-Services receipt. If there are any matters or doubts about this service, you may contact our office for assistance at 03-7801 8888 or email us at maid@myeg.com.my

12. How will I receive the Maid Renewal Permit after my payment?
• The sticker will be delivered to the applicant's chosen address (either at the office or home)
• Biometrics thumbprint will be conducted upon ALL DELIVERIES by MyEG Services Logistics Officers to verify and record the details of the person receiving the Permit Renewal. They will then paste the renewal sticker to the applicant’s MAID passport.
• Only applicants who hold the workers’ passport will receive the permit accordingly. Delivery to 3rd party will not be entertained.

13. What else should I know before I proceed with the renewal through MyEG Services?
• The Permit Renewal can only be applied within 3 months before the expiry date
• The valid duration of the Permit Renewal period is one year only.
• The maid’s passport must be valid for at least one year from the expiry of the existing permit in order to renew their new work permit.
• Your maid must complete and pass the FOMEMA health inspection record before proceeding with the Maid Permit Renewal.

Application for Maid Renewal using MyEG Services

1. What kind of documentations do I need to prepare initially?
The supporting documents required for the process are as follows:
• The completed FOMEMA form
• Photocopy of the passport
• Photocopy of the previous permit

2. How long is the duration of the processing period?
Under normal circumstances, the entire processing period is 17 working days from the date the maid is taken to the Clinic. This is inclusive of the 10 working days processing period for FOMEMA and 7 working days processing period for MyEG Services.

3. Can I send a representative to send the maid to the Clinic for the medical check up?
You may appoint anybody as a representative to accompany the maid at your chosen clinic.

4. What are the charges involved in renewing the maid's permit?
If you wish to appoint MyEG to handle the renewal process, the charges are as follows:
• FOMEMA Inspection - male (RM180), female (RM190) per person
• Renewal Permit - please refer to the above table in question #8.
• Convenience fee - RM58 per person
If you wish to conduct the FOMEMA application on your own, the charges are as follows:
• Renewal Permit - please refer to the above table in question #8.
• Convenience fee - RM38 per person

5. How long does the maid's medical status valid?
The medical status is only valid for the duration of 3 months at the Immigration Department from the date of medical examination.

6. I have made renewal for my maid's permit for the past 3 years; do I have to go through FOMEMA for the next medical check up?
The maid is required for the medical check up for the first 3 years only. For the fourth renewal, you may proceed directly to apply for the permit without going through FOMEMA.

7. What if I have a maid at another state? Can I send the form to them for the medical check up?
You may send the inspection form to the representative you have appointed that is with your maid.
Please key in the corresponding address in the application form. There are 3 addresses that you may fill in as follows:
a) The address where you wish MyEG's representative to collect your FOMEMA application and the photocopies of the passport page and the previous permit.
b) The address where you wish to send the inspection form where your maid is.
c) The address where you wish to deliver the renewal permit.
